Here's how classes and membership work:
- Every year on January 1, the classes are released to Members Only. Members will have the month of January to plan out what classes they would like to take, register and pay for those classes. In order to receive these benefits, you must sign up before December 31 of the current year.
- On January 15, the classes open up to the rest of the membership and to the public.
- Anyone is welcome to take a class through the Wisconsin Rosemalers. However, you must purchase a membership before you may register for any class.
- Classes are filled first come-first serve... and fill up fast!

The Wisconsin Rosemalers will feature 10 Newsletter Blasts which are short newsletters that feature upcoming events, information, and member featurettes. These are meant to help keep you 'in the know' with a quick look. Our 2 Grand Newsletters feature much more comprehensive and detailed information. They will also include what artists need to know about the Syttende Mai Competition, Syttende Mai Sale, or the Fall Nordic Market. Entry forms, judging parameters, sale information, dates and times are just a few of the details our Grand Newsletters will encompass. What classes are you
hoping for in 2027?
This year the Wisconsin Rosemalers will be hosting several talented and professional teachers, including Vesterheim Gold Medalists, as instructors for our classes this year. In past years we have hosted classes that teach designs for an 18-inch plate, a bentwood box tine, a mangle board, and small trunk, and many other types of woodenware. We've hosted teachers that taught us how to paint landscapes to add to our design, create figurines to highlight the story of our pieces, and even practiced lettering to add quotes and names to the designs.
